Discover the 7 Essential Elements that Guarantee your Financial Success

December 11th, 2008

1. Find a way to develop your own financial income and wealth without being dependent on others. The best way to do this is to join a network marketing company, start a franchise, invent your own product or start your own business from scratch. Few people ever achieve wealth or financial independence working for someone else. Financial success does not happen by accident. It takes lots of motivation and careful planning and being your own boss permits this.

2. Pay yourself first. Every time you get a paycheck put at least 10% in a savings account. Achieving financial success requires that you save a portion of your income and that you avoid spending every penny. Saving money also requires discipline and this kind of discipline is what will ensure your financial security in the future. » Read more: Discover the 7 Essential Elements that Guarantee your Financial Success

Fred Couples and Jim Nantz were two kids who loved golf and had very large dreams. Fred’s goal was to someday win the Master’s Tournament, and Jim’s was to someday work for CBS Sports as an announcer. Fred and Jim were suitemates at the University of Houston in the late 1970’s, and they would playact the scene where the winner of the Masters was escorted into Butler Cabin to receive his green jacket, and be interviewed by the CBS announcer. Fourteen years later, the scene they had rehearsed many times in Taub Hall at the University of Houston played out in reality as the whole world looked on. Fred Couples won the Masters, and was taken by tournament officials into Butler Cabin, where he was interviewed by… CBS sports announcer Jim Nantz, of course. After the cameras stopped rolling, the two embraced each other with tears in their eyes. They always knew it would happen that way, because they had already done it all those years earlier. » Read more: Visualizing Can Make All of Your Dreams Come True!

What is the difference between wealthy people and poor (even average) people? It is not all the money that wealthy people have and the average don’t, nor the luxury, nor the lifestyle. It is their mindset.

A few lucky people have won a lot of money and become wealthy overnight but in short time many of them have returned to their prior financial condition too soon. There is no trace of all the riches they have once

won. Very few of them can stay wealthy long enough to actually improve their quality of life.

Why? Because it is not the money and the luxurious lifestyle that make people wealthy. » Read more: The Wealthy Mindset
