Business Opportunity During Economic Crisis

It’s truly amazing how short our memories are. In the late 1980s we dealt with the S&L crisis. That one only cost the government-I mean taxpayers-about $325 billion. The result of the crisis were millions of lost jobs and foreclosed homes. Sound familiar? Why didn’t we learn anything?

Well, actually we did learn something back then: As bad as that time was for some, it was a boom for others. Some people made a fortune during that period. Many more made a good living, while even more supplemented their dwindling incomes. The companies that turned the bust into a boom sold many different types of products manufactured mainly in foreign countries, but they all had one thing in common: They provided everyone from the executive to the unskilled laborer the same opportunity. These companies were all part of the direct selling industry.

Today there are many companies out there that provide this type of opportunity, and I happen to work for one of them as the Vice President of Business Development and General Manager.
